“A man who signed up to be Trump’s personal lawyer, prosecuted his boss’s political enemies, brokered a sweetheart deal for Jeffrey Epstein’s closest confidante, and designed a Trump immunity deal and $1.8 billion slush fund for January 6th insurrectionists has no business serving as the nation’s top law enforcement officer. But as we’ve seen time and again, Trump values loyalists over the law, and accomplices over accountability.
