DEMAND JUSTICE’S CHRISTOPHER KANG ON MSNBC: HOUSE SHOULD ‘ABSOLUTELY’ MOVE TO IMPEACH KAVANAUGH

WASHINGTON, DC—On Monday, Demand Justice Chief Counsel Christopher Kang appeared on MSNBC’s Live with Hallie Jackson to discuss the need for the House of Representatives to begin impeachment proceedings against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in light of Saturday’s New York Times report that presented new information about Kavanaugh and his confirmation process.

Kang urged the House to investigate the sham FBI investigation conducted during Kavanaugh’s confirmation process that did not interview several people who came forward to corroborate Deborah Ramirez’s allegation that Kavanaugh sexually harassed her at a party at Yale.

“We’ve been calling on House Democrats to take action since April to look into the sham Kavanaugh confirmation process,” said Kang. “They need to get to the bottom of the hundreds of thousands of Kavanaugh’s White House documents that were hidden, to get to the bottom of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in Kavanaugh’s debt that mysteriously disappeared, and most importantly to get to the bottom of these sexual assault allegations and into this FBI investigation, which was clearly a sham from the start.”
