NEW AD: DEMAND JUSTICE, MOVEON POLITICAL ACTION USE WORDS OF LATE JUSTICE GINSBURG TO URGE AMERICANS TO VOTE
The ad will run as part of a new, $500,000 digital campaign in key Senate races
WASHINGTON, DC— Following the Senate’s vote Monday night to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, Demand Justice and MoveOn Political Action announced a new ad urging Americans to vote through the words of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“Some terrible things have happened in the United States, but one can only hope that we learn from those bad things,” Ginsburg is heard saying in the ad. “We are not experiencing the best of times. But there’s reason to hope that we will see a better day. I am optimistic long run.”
Ginsburg’s voice is heard as the ad features images of women and young girls mourning her death last month at vigils across the country.
The ad concludes with the word ‘vote’.
The digital ad is backed by a $500,000 investment and will run in key Senate states.
The ad can be viewed here and below.
