WASHINGTON, DC—Today at 5:30pm ET, Demand Justice will host Tom Perez, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and an array of the country’s most prominent, progressive activists and thinkers at a forum in Washington, DC to examine possible reforms to the Supreme Court in the wake of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation battle.
The forum, titled “The Court in Crisis: What’s Next for Progressives After Kavanaugh,” will analyze the delegitimizing impact of Kavanaugh’s elevation to the Court and discuss how progressives can counter President Trump’s politicization of the judiciary.
The event will feature an exciting lineup of academics, advocates and activists who have been shaping the conversation about how progressives can fight back against the conservative takeover of the Court. A list of some of these confirmed speakers appears below.
