Judiciary Act Update: Reps. Boyle, Barragán, and Schiff Endorse Supreme Court Expansion
JUDICIARY ACT UPDATE: REPS. BOYLE, BARRAGÁN, AND SCHIFF ENDORSE SUPREME COURT EXPANSION
Reps. Brendan Boyle (D-PA), Nanette Barragán (D-CA), and Adam Schiff (D-CA) have all announced support for expanding the Supreme Court following reports that the Court has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.
When they are officially added as cosponsors, the Judiciary Act of 2021 will have 54 cosponsors in the House representing 25 states and territories. In the Senate, the bill is supported by Sens. Ed Markey, Tina Smith, and Elizabeth Warren.
