MEET JOSH ORTON, PRESIDENT OF DEMAND JUSTICE

Josh Orton is a veteran of progressive politics, policy, and organizing. He most recently served as senior advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris in the White House, and as policy director and senior advisor to Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign for president. 

Earlier in his career, Josh served as a top advisor to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. He was also the top judicial strategist for NARAL Pro-Choice America (now called Reproductive Justice for All). 

Josh holds a law degree and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
