Campaign Includes Mobile Billboard, Poster Pasting, And Direct Engagements With Senate Offices
Washington, DC — Yesterday, before the Senate adjourned for the weekend, Demand Justice launched new tactics on Capitol Hill as part of the Whatever It Takes campaign–these efforts urge senators to do “whatever it takes” to confirm the final pending judicial nominees, including the remaining Circuit Court nominees, before Trump is inaugurated and Republicans take control of the Senate.
The campaign consists of posters around Capitol Hill and a mobile billboard circling the Capitol, as well as directly engaging with Senate offices.
“Each federal judge confirmed is a critical guardrail in upholding our Constitution,” said Maggie Jo Buchanan, Managing Director of Demand Justice. “Americans deserve judges who will prioritize their rights over political interests. The Senate must deliver for them in these final days.”
