Demand Justice Statement on Senator Susan Collins

WASHINGTON, DC—Demand Justice Executive Director Brian Fallon released the following statement Wednesday regarding Maine Senator Susan Collins:

“The day Susan Collins voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh was the day she destroyed her reputation as a reasonable moderate. A top priority for us in the coming year will be to continue to invest resources in Maine to ensure Collins never lives down her vote for Kavanaugh. The coming months will bring key Court decisions where Kavanaugh may join in attacks on abortion rights, the LGBTQ+ community, and the rule of law. Susan Collins will own each and every one of Kavanaugh’s votes in these cases.”
