“A slush fund for January 6th rioters is still alive because of Todd Blanche. Trump’s corrupt IRS deal still stands because of Todd Blanche. Yet this morning, he was confirmed as Attorney General.
“Blanche is in this position not in spite of his overwhelming fealty to Trump but because of it. And any senator who thinks his word is worth the paper it’s written on is either blind to the attacks on our democracy or complicit in them. Donald Trump and his allies who have been working to corrupt our system of justice will now be even more emboldened.”
